Hello Everyone!!!!  

Sorry for the lack of updates, it's been over a month since my last update.
Life and work keeping busy every week but since the holiday season it's starting that means
more free time!!!  YAY!    Because my con season is over, weather is cooling down
and more time to spend at home, watching tv and drinking hot cocoa.

So, yes my con season is oficially over for the year 2011!!!
I have to say it was a great con season. I went to many events, gatherings, conventions and met
so many new people and cosplay more than any other year I have cosplay.

My con season started back in February, it lasted 9 months!

I had so much fun all year long, visited new and old places, spent time with friends new
and old ones and  travel to many places.

My plans for next year are being develop right now. I have plans to change some conventions for others
for many reasons. Some include change of location, financials and the conventions themselves.

So far this is how my con schedule will be looking like. I will start it in January and it will end in August.

- Katsucon (First East coast convention!)

- Wondercon (maybe)
- Sakuracon (maybe)

- Mickey's Halloween Party

Wondercon is a maybe because is moving to So Cal and I would like to attend but still don't know if
I will be able to.
Sakuracon is a maybe because something came up around those dates and forcing it
in my schedule may put at risk Fanime and I can't change Fanime for SC sorry. But I will know for sure
once 2012 gets upon us

Mickey's Halloween Party

This year once again I attended the Mickey's Halloween Party at the Disneyland resort.
I went with ~maggifan who cosplay as Ariel and ~Raphiel4-u who cosplay Scott from Scott Pilgrim .  
I made a new costume for this event, Rapunzel from Designer Collection.
I loved the dress as soon as I saw it I couldn't resist to make it.
I modified it, I added sleeves since I don't like to wear anything sleevesless. Also, I didn't add (yet)
the pink glittering ruffles around the corset because I though it was too much for Disneyland.
I do have plans to wear it again and this time it will be finished!

I had so much fun! Had lots of candies, ride the attractions and the best I WAS PART OF THE PARADE!!!
When we walked in the park, a cast member asked ~maggifan and I  about being part of the parade.
We couldn't resist so we said yes! It was such an amazing and magical moment! I enjoyed every bit of
it and is a memory  I will never forget!!! <3

Yaoi Con

I got extremely sick the week of Yaoi con. I got a cold, cough and sore throat. I called out sick on Monday,
Tuesday I barely made the day at work. Wednesday as soon as I got to work I got sent home and I was
told not to come back on Thursday and Friday I had it off for Yaoi con  >_<
I spent almost all week without working and still was very sick even before leaving for Yaoi con.
I was going to cancel the trip to SF but I really wanted to go! I had finished my costumes and had
plans for photo shoots, trips and wanted to have a little vacation. So, in the end I decided to go and I'm
so glad I did because it was a awesome!!!

The drive there wasn't so bad and had a good time with ~maggifan who was my companion. Once
we got to the hotel on Friday we met up with ~Verie and ~WaterPuzzle and got change into
Mawaru Penguindrum costumes. We left the con for the Academy Museum (I think that is how it was
called?) to take photos. Luckily and since we didn't looked too much like in costume we had no
problems taking photos there! Thank you so much to ~RevoGeist for being our photographer!

On our way back we stopped at In N Out to get food since none of us have had anything that day.
We got back to the hotel and had a couple other photo shoots then I hit the bed. I was exhausted,
I only wanted to sleep.
The next morning I helped ~maggifan to finish some details of her Kurogane costume.
I spent most of the day in my room just resting, eating and watching tv. It was great, I rest well
enough by that evening I was feeling a lot much better and my cold was almost completely away.
At night I did a mini photo shoot for ~maggifan  in her Taiki costume.




Then we went to the bar to get some drinks and late night dessert. We spent some time at the gaming
room then met up with ~WaterPuzzle , ~Verie, *ShiniVasyenka and ~Lt-Noir-Vasyenka
We spent some time in the lobby talking and then I went back to the room to sleep.

The next morning woke up kind of late, in a rush I changed into my Alice costume and had a photo shoot with
~maggifan as Oz from the art work black and red. Awesome ~masa-kocha took some photos for us thanks!
After the photo shoot we had breakfast and then we packed our stuff and checked out of the hotel.
Awesome *ShiniVasyenka was very kind and let us leave our stuff in her room in the meanwhile we took more
photos with her and spend more time at the con.
We had dinner at the hotel with *ShiniVasyenka and friends. Had some great talk about comic con
and other cons.

After the photo shoot we said our good byes because we had to leave to the airport to then take the BART to
our station and fuuu… that was a long travel back home and painful but it was all worth it.

I had such a great time at this con. That is the reason why even though I don't like Yaoi con and is kind of far I keep returning
to this convention because is awesome! Too bad next year is moving to So Cal because then I won't be attending.
One of the main purposes of Ycon is to visit Nor Cal friends but there won't be any so is a no go for me.

Pandora Hearts photo shoot

Back at Anime Expo I cosplay Alice from the art work in the May cover of GFantasy along with ~maggifan as Oz and
*Valdrein as Gilbert. Unfortunately our photo shoots got ruined by a couple of things.
Since then I have been wanting to have another photo shoot with these costumes. So, this past weekend ~maggifan
and I decided to risk it and go to the graveyard in our city. We got there and there were like no people around  so we
started taking photos. In the meanwhile we were there an employee came to asked us if we were taking photos and we
said yes. We though he was going to tell us to leave but instead he said that for this time he was going to pretend he didn't
see us but just to make it quick and he gave us 30 minutes!  YAY!!! He was such a nice guy!!
So, we quickly finished taking photos and left.  We were so happy we got some good photos.
