Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Been watching new anime and cartoons lately and reading other series. The ones I finished this summer so far:

This past weekend got all my supplies and fabric for all my costumes from now till Yaoi Con!!!
Will be making 6 new costumes for Yaoi con from animes and mangas such as After School Nightmare,
Pandora Hearts, Horitsuba Gakuen and DN Angel!!!
Will start working on costumes in a week and will post some progress.

Conventions

I attended AX and Comic con during July.
Anime Expo its the same crappy convention only got more expensive but friends made it awesome!!! *hugs*

Comic Con was as EPIC as always!!!! Got to see so many stuff and got to meet so many awesome creators,
actors, directors, producers, artists, etc.... As ever!
The panels were amazing and got to see everything I wanted including my surprise of Tom Felton!!!
He is so cute!!! and was so nice with everyone

Next cosplay event I will be attending will be The Mickey's Halloween at Disneyland!!!
Will be cosplaying Princess Bubblegum tea party dress from Adventure Time.
I know it sounds lame but that cartoon is awesome and I will have a Finn and Ice King!!!
Can't wait for it!!!

After this will be Yaoi con!!! and I'm considering attending PMX. I have been wanting to attend this event for
some years now. But it all depends if I can get the days off at work.
