Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Hello!!!

First, welcome to my new watchers and thank you all for the favs and comments, I greatly appreciate them!!

Fanimecon was AWESOME!!!! BEST CON OF THE YEAR!!! So, far. I had lots of fun, got to see most of my friends and attended events that I didn't attend before like the swap meet, arcade, got purikura, etc...

Thursday:

Arrived around 5pm, checked in at hotel and unloaded the stuff from the car. Run into *Valdrein

Lined up for about 2 hours to get badge which they couldn't find and had to get a temporary replacement.
Had pizza in room with roomies ~maggifan and ~Raphiel4-u
Went to the swap meet and found so many amazing things. After this we went to the PJ dance party, for some reason many
people though it was cancelled or it was the next day but it wasn't!
I was so tired I left early and went to bed! fuuu...

Friday:

Pandora Hearts day! I got to wear my new costume Vanessa Nightray. I don't know why I wanted to cosplay her but seriously I would analyze more my characters next time. Not only with the hair but with the outfit too, I was like WTF? half of the time I was making it. It looks like Vanessa decided to make her own clothes and cut her own hair, they are so weird -_-

Saturday:

Early morning was Sonic group time! I wore Knuckles as petition of ~maggifan along with ~Raphiel4-u, ~Verie, ~WaterPuzzle and *VandorWolf Got a photo shoot with amazing Lionel!!!

I was suppose to wear Vincent Nightray after Knuckles but FORGOT MY VINCENT WIG AT HOME!!! So, yeah I got depressed and didn't cosplay for the rest of the day. It was the first time ever happening to me -_-

Went to the Artist Alley were I finally met ~rai-kamishiro she was wearing her lovely Mami costume from Puella Magi!

I played photographer and did a photo shoot for ~WaterPuzzle and ~Verie in their Hetalia costumes

In the middle of the shoot started to rain, well not to rain; pour! I got soak!!! Finished the photo shoot and head back to my room to change clothes.

Had dinner with *Valdrein, *VandorWolf, ~Heimdallll and *twinfools

Spent the rest of the night in the gaming room playing games and looking around. Going back to the room saw Jason from i360.

Sunday:

This morning was going to have an After School Nightmare photo shoot with ~maggifan and !Mister-Gloo but didn't happen. -_-
After getting lunch, I changed into my Miku costume from Sandplay. It took me 3 hours to get ready.
Had a photo shoot with awesome photographer ~TheDreamerWorld
with ~maggifan as Luka and *Valdrein as Gakupo

After the photo shoot attended the Black and White Ball. My leg was hurting already by this time, I spent most of the time just sitting down.
Had a great time, danced a little and meet up with ~Haruu-chan, ~WaterPuzzle and ~Verie

Monday:

Everyone in my room including myself over slept!!! I woke up kind of late from the time we actually wanted to wake up. Packed everything and called for a cart to take my luggage to my car. They said 45 minutes it was over an hour and still nothing. It wasn't until like 2 hours later someone came and not everything fit so he had to come back.
He then told us that once we get car we can't send it back, we would have to pay for another of parking WTF? for the past 3 years I have always being able to load the car and send it back to leave at a later time. He said this year was different, so whatever. We decided to leave our staff in the lobby and do the loading later that afternoon. My leg was hurting so bad this day, I wasn't almost able to walk. I somehow managed to get some photos and say good byes to people then head back to San Diego.

This week I will be attending Sonic Boom in Los Angeles, CA to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog!!! So excited! Hope I get to meet the creator!

After this event I'm free until AX/AM2. I still don't know what I'm going to wear but most likely just re-wearing stuff.
