Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Hello!!!

Attended Anime LA at the beginning of the month. Last time I went to his convention was back in 2010 but some of the staff were douches and I didn't want to attend in 2011. But this year, I already had a badge and awesome friends were attending so I decided to attend again. It was great, everything went smooth this time.

Some highlights:

- Got 4 of my pictures from Mlarad Studios featured on the walls of ALA.
- Cosplay from Tsubasa again and my love for it came back!
- Awesome food times with friends.
- Participated in an AMV contest after 2 years
- The AMV project with ~maggifan and ~Raphiel4-u got
1st place Audience Drama AMV award!!!

- Fun pool times
- Masquerade LOLs!
- Dance party, Video Game room and Karaoke room until late night
- Meeting new awesome people!
- New cons and costume planning!

I had a lot of fun, I was very surprised of how much ALA has growth since the first time I attended back in 2007 when I think there were like 1700 attendees, now I heard there were like 4000! 0_0

NEXT UP IS KATSUCON!!!!

This will be my first time attending a convention in the East coast and I'm very excited!
I have seen pictures and videos and the location looks amazing.
I know some of the best cosplay can be seen at Katsucon. Also, their masquerade has
always been amazing entries and this year they are hosting the WCS too!
Excited to see that!

My cosplay plans are:

I hope I get to see you at Katsu! I'm sad you aren't bringing any of your Tsubasa costumes ;_; I think we are doing our default Tsubasa outfit group at Katsucon this year. It would have been great for our Kurogane to get pictures with Kurogane's mom and dad.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for you though!

Awww, Kurogane's parents are huge costumes! They will never fit in out luggage. When we took them to Sakuracon, a whole suitcase were just those 2 costumes. Maybe next time >_<
